inventory management released!

We have now introduced inventory management to billfaster!

With billfaster inventory management or stock control, you can set up items to track stock.

All you need to do to track an item, is to click or tap the "Track Stock?" check box in the Inventory section of the Items page.

You can easily match all billfaster to your actual stock count by entering the results of your stock take in the stock take page.

With billfaster stock take, you can save your work in progress, and come back to later. when complete you can complete your stock take, and this will form the baseline for your stock to be tracked.

billfaster keeps a history of all previous stock takes, so it is easy to track any stock movements in between.

bank reconciliation released!

We have now introduced bank reconciliation to billfaster!

With the billfaster bank reconciliation, you can save your work in progress, and come back to later.

You can also work on reconciling multiple statements simultaneously, as well as easily review previous reconciled bank statements.

With billfaster, you can begin to reconcile statements from any time, without the need to reconcile statements from scratch.

The start date of your first bank statement is saved as your first reconciliation date, and will not bring in unreconciled items from before that date! This date is configurable, so that you have complete flexibility.

This allows you to quickly reconcile bank statements and find any differences between your statement and your transactions.

billfaster refreshes website

After a bit of a blog break , we have been pretty busy updating our web app, mobile app, and website, as well as simplifying editions and pricing.

We updated our website to try and handle all the different screen sizes and devices, as well as refreshing the look.
